The achievements of Maureen FitzSimons as a young performer in America (which we call Maureen O'Hara today) would have definitely put her into the child-prodigy category. However, for a child with Irish background, surrounded by talented parents and family members, these were very natural traits. Maureen was born in Ranelagh an area in Dublin the capital of Ireland on the 17th of August 1920. Marguerita Lilburn FitzSimons was her mom. She was a accomplished contralto. Charles FitzSimons managed a Dublin-based company and was the owner of a portion in "The Shamrock Rovers," a renowned Irish soccer squad. Maureen FitzSimons came second from a household of six FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara rounded off this gorgeous group. Maureen excelled at sports and enjoyed playing rough sports. Additionally, she had a gift acting. This was demonstrated by her receiving nearly every Feis award for drama and the stage that her country had to offer.
