| Anna Paquin (n e Paquin) is an actor from New Zealand, Canada and actress. The fate took over. It wasn't her intention to become an actor, but it did. In the wake of the popularity of Jane Eyre opportunities were presented to her. However she chose not to accept them so that she could focus on the studies. After a successful debut film when she was just 14, she was approached for roles in Jane Eyre and the Fly Away Homefilm series. The year 2000 saw her play the powerful mutant Roguein the XMen films series. The role she took upon landed her in the limelight. She reprised Roguein X2and X-Men The Last Stand.She has also had small-screen appearances including Elaine Goodalin the film The Bury My Heart in Wounded Kneeforwhich her first Emmynomination.
