Allison Munn

Munn was born as a child in Columbia, South Carolina. Russell Munn is her father and a politician lobbyist. Munn was a student at AC Flora High School, and The College of Charleston. Munn was then transferred from Charleston to New York, where she got a role as the principal actress in The Fantasticks an Off-Broadway Musical. Munn's stage career continued with performances on White Oleander, the film adaptation of Janet Fitch's novel. Munn starred alongside Alison Lohman, Michelle Pfeiffer as well as Renee Zellweger. In addition, she was in Cameron Crowe's romantic tragedy Elizabethtown alongside Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and Renee Zellweger.Munn was cast as Tina Haven in the second season's What I Like About You. She played Holly Tyler's closest friend, and was she co-starred with Amanda Bynes. Munn was part of the show up until the fourth season was over on April 24, 2006.
